    He was a farmer.
    Mr. Crouch was born in Jefferson county on August 23, 1907, a son of Charles and Sarah (Craft) Crouch.
    He was a member of the Keenes Baptist church.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Keenes Baptist church, with the Rev. Melvin Chambliss and the Rev. Rudolph Schlag officiating.
    Friends may call at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City after 6 p.m. today.

    Funeral Monday For C.C. Crouch
    Funeral services for Charles C. Crough, 79, who died at 12:30 p.m. yesterday at his home in Webber township, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Oakdale church. The Rev. Bird Green and the Rev. martin will conduct the service and burial will be in Oakdale cemetery.
    Mr. Crouch was the father of 21 children and selected as the “Father of the Day” by the Father’s Day Committee Chairman in a context sponsored by the King City Retailers in June.
    Mr. Crouch was in failing health at the time of the contest and was unable to make the trip to Mt. Vernon to receive the many gifts which were given him by the King City Retailers.
    Sixteen of his children survive. They are: John at home, Glen of Bluford, Melvin of Sikeston, Mo., Charles of Chicago, Thomas of DeKalb, Kenneth of Cincinnati, O., William of Morton, Ill., Mrs. Ross Shields, Mrs. Hattie Rapp, Mrs. Eleanor Gregory of Bluford, Mrs. Ada Jackson of Belle Rive, Mrs. Elfreida of DeKalb, Mrs. Mary Bordon of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Dorothy Finn of Malta, Ill., Mrs. Ruth Ann Phelps and Miss Marcella Crouch of Mt. Vernon. Twenty-one grandchildren also survive.
    Mr. Crouch was a lifetime farmer and resided in Jefferson county for 50 years. He was first married in 1896 to Sarah Craft Martin in Covington, Ind., and in 1915 he married Blanche Orrick, who preceded him in death October 13, 1938.
    The body will lie in state at Comb’s Chapel in Wayne City.

    Charles H. Ehrhart Dies In Mt. Vernon
    Charles H. Ehrhart, 75, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Decatur, died at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Mount Vernon.
    He had been in failing health five years and critically ill a month.
    He was born Sept. 21, 1879 near Decatur, a son of Samuel and Fannie Lourish Ehrhart. He married Lillie Belle Good in Decatur Feb. 28, 1901.
    A retired farmer, he was a member of the Methodist Church.
    Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Roy of Benton and Edward of Belle Rive; six daughter, Mrs. Neva Bradford, Mount Vernon; Mrs. Gracie Crouch, Bluford; Mrs. Martha Grubbs and Mrs. Gladys Bernius, both of Decatur; Mrs. Lidora Dickey, Maroa, and Mrs. Marybelle Smith, Pecos, Tex.; a brother, Frank, Decatur, and 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Two sons, a daughter, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (CST) Saturday in the Pulley Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, where friends may call. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. (CDT) Saturday in the Boiling Springs Cemetery near Decatur.

    Mrs. Ehrhart died in Benton Wednesday, after an illness of about two weeks.

    Mrs. Ehrhart lived here until about four years ago when she moved to Benton to live with a son.

    Samuel Ehrhart Dies At Bearsdale
    Samuel Ehrhart, an old resident of the county, died at 11 o'clock Sunday morning at his home near Bearsdale. His age was eighty-six years, two months and five days. His death was due to infirmities incident to old age. He had resided in this part of the country for the past fifty years and was well known among the old residents of this county.
    Mr. Ehrhart was born in York county, Pa., Dec. 11, 1832. He and Miss Fannie Lourash were married April 1865, and she survives him. She is now seriously ill, both having taken sick on the same day. Mrs. Ehrhart is seventy-three years old.
    Beside his wife Mr. Ehrhart is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mrs. J.I. Keller of Harristown; Mrs. Walter Drew of Dectur; Frank Ehrhart of Bearsdale and Charles Ehrhart of Mt. Vernon, Ill. Another son died in infancy. There are eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held some time Tuesday morning. The interment will be in the Boiling Spring cemetery.

    Fannie Ehrhart Dies Saturday
    Aged Woman Succumbs Soon After Her Husband: Funeral Is Monday
    Fannie, Aged 73 years, widow of Samuel Ehrhart, died Saturday morning in the family home near Bearsdale, due chiefly to the infirmities of age. She and her husband were taken ill about the same time and his death occurred Sunday, March 16. She and Samuel Ehrhart had lived as husband and wife for 54 years and the shock of his death hastened her end.
    Four children survive her - Mrs. J. I. Keller, Harristown; Mrs. Walter Drew, Decatur; Charles Ehrhart, Mt. Vernon, and Frank Ehrhart, Bearsdale. Among her descendants are 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted in Boiling Spring church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
