She was an accomplished pianist and a fantastic self-taught watercolor artist. She created a painting each year that was used for their Christmas card, and many copies are on display each year in many homes of family and friends. She was a devoted wife, a fantastic mother, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother – her family was the most important thing in her life. She has an unbelievable number of close friends – many that she had known for over 70 years.
