Orelle J. Tweedy
Orelle J. Tweedy, 73, passed away on Aug. 4, 2000, while on vacation in Germany.
Orelle was born in Oklahoma and had lived in Simi Valley for 38 years. She worked from the Simi Unified School District for 17 years as an office clerk. Orelle was very involved in her church, attending every Sunday and getting involved in all events. She loved to travel and did so often. Her hobbies were knitting, bowling and woodcarving. She loved to cook and make meals for her family.
Orelle is survived by her son, Scott Tweedy of Riverside, and grandchildren, Ashley and Scott Jr. Orelle will be missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert D. Tweedy, and son, Don Tweedy.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at Simi Presbyterian Church, 4832 Cochran St., Simi Valley.
