    Obituary for Barbara Mae Adams
Barbara Mae Maudsley Fieseler Adams passed away peacefully at the age of 86, One day short of her 87th Birthday, on May 17th, 2021 in her St George Utah home.

Barbara was born on May 18, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to True Lavon Maudsley and Helen Norean Christensen Maudsley.

Her Father's employment as a cement mason required the family relocate for work often. Most of her childhood years were spent in the North Western States of Utah and Oregon. During those early years she found pleasure escaping to a tall tree branch where she lost herself in the pages of a book, also loved riding on the big seeding tractor with her Dad and Brother. She reminisced about the old ice house her Dad built with walls a foot thick or more. Mom loved to learn, going from school to school made formal education hard for her and eventually dropped out in her 9th year.

Because of her love of reading her self paced education continued throughout her life, taking classes in French, Art, and Theatre.
She met Donald Vance Fieseler in Bell Flower California when she was 16yrs old. On December 23, 1950 they were married in Downey California. Soon after starting their new life together, they moved to live near family in Oregon. Barbara and Don were blessed with 5 Children mostly raised in Southern California, later moving to Utah when Tim was 2 years old.

She built her dream home in La Verkin Utah, where she remained for 40 years, gathering a plethora of close friends, who knew her affectionately as 'Colorful Barbara', before moving to her riverfront property in St George.

Barbara was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to teach Relief Society, serve in MIA (Young Womens), put on Road Shows, and Fashion Shows. Girls Camp was her all time favorite, 2nd to working in the Temple.

She enjoyed being outdoors, planting trees, flowers, sitting on her favorite rock in La Verkin observing nature.
Barbara is Survived by 5 Children/Spouses; Deborah (Charles) Layton, Washington, UT. Teresa (Stuart) Spendlove, St George, UT. Michael (Debi) Fieseler, Leeds, UT.
