    Lander – Services for longtime Fremont County resident, Rebecca “Jennie” Hedges, 96, who died June 30 at Fremont Manor Nursing Home in Riverton, will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson’s Funeral Home.
    Rev. Dan Mitchell will officiate with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
    Born April 18, 1889 in Waverly, Neb., she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Etta Tosh Dimick. She married Jasper Hedges, April 12, 1907 in Bloomington, Ind. They moved to the Riverton area in 1919 and to Lander in 1934 where she had lived since that time. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
    Survivors include three daughters, Geraldene Dalton and Lorene Rouse of Idaho, and Vivian Harris of Lander; three sons, Roy of Rhode Island, Russell of Lander and Donald of Casper; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and five children.
    Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

    His daughter, Jennie, later married Jasper N. Hedges, nephew of James Alva Hedges, one of the founders of the church.

    Mrs. Charles Dimick died at her home, 307 East Tremont street at 4:15 a.m. today, after an illness covering a period of nearly five years. Mrs. Dimick was 42 years old. She leaves her husband and four children, Arthur, Gertie, Jennie and Daniel, all of whom reside at home.
    The family removed here from Fairmount about six moths ago and Mr. Dimich, speaking of the sad affliction today, said that although strangers here, his family had been treated most kindly by the people of the neighborhood.

    Mary Etta Tosh was born Feb. 9, 1864 in the county of Pittsylvania, state of Virginia. She was married to Chas. Dimick Dec. 25, 1884, united with the Christian church about twenty-five years ago and has since lived a devoted Christian life. She departed from this life July 28, 1905 at 4:15 at 307 E. Tremont St. Champaign, Ill. aged 41 years, 5 months 19 days.
    The remains were taken over the Wabash Saturday evening on the 3:15 train to Fairmount where she was taken to the home of Mr. George Hedges and on Sunday morning the funeral was held at Center Point church at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. Fisher, pastor of the Christian church at Champaign. Interment at Fairmount cemetery.
