Morvia Hagemeyer was born in 1920, graduating from Worthing High in 1938. In 1945 she married Delbert Brooks. The couple lived in Lennox and Sioux Falls.
She had worked at the Sunshine Hatchery, as a clerk in Lennox, Worthing and Canton and for the Argus Leader mailing room for 11 years, retiring in 1981. Delbert died in 2002.
Survivors: sons: Charlyn “Chuck” (Marsha) Brooks and Cordell (Kristi) Brooks both of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5 at Peace Lutheran Church, 5509 W 42 St, Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation with the family present, also at Peace Lutheran, will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.
