  Mary Neblock Taken By Death Lifelong Local Resident Succumbs After Illness of Three Weeks Mrs. Mary Ellen Neblock, 63, a lifelong resident of Streator, died at 10:15 a.m. today at St. Mary’s hospital, after an illness of three weeks. She resided at 811 South Monroe Street. Surviving are her husband, John Neblock, to whom she was married July 26, 1917, in Streator, and two sons, Robert and William Neblock of this city. A son, Edward, was killed in Italy in World War II. Also surviving are a brother, Edward Barnwell, and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Stewart and Catherine Bryant of Streator. Two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Durham and Mrs. Henrietta Rush, preceded her in death. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Barnwell, she was born in Streator Dec. 25, 1890, and it was here she spent her entire life. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception church and the Altar Society. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Solon funeral home, and at 9 at the Immaculate Conception church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the rosary will be said at 8 o’clock the same evening. The Times, Streator, Illinois. Monday, 8 March 1954. [3, 5]
