    • Clayton Howard Counts, 78, of North Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Memphis, assembler at Lincoln Engineering, died of Alzheimer disease Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Memphis, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Mr. County, the husband of Dorothy Marie Counts, also leaves six daughters, Dorothy Evelyn Wells and Leta Joyce Hudson, both of North Little Rock, Kathryn Lee Hudson of Sullivan, Mo., Eloise Effie Allison of Plano, Texas, Alice Emeline Rios of Elmedorf, Texas and Karen Sue Zanie of st. Louis; two sons, Kenneth Howard County of North Little Rock and Blyde Arthur Counts of High Ridge, Mo.; a sister, Flossie Schneider of Campbell, Mo.; four brothers, Floyd Counts of Campbell, William Counts and Leamon Countys, Both of St. Louis, and Norman Counts of Maiden, Mo., and 14 grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association of the Visiting Nurses Association’s ‘Caring for Life’ Hospice in Little Rock.
