Notes - Mrs. O.J. Clay
Centerville - Mrs. Mary E. Clay, 67, wife of O.J. Clay, 308 South Third St., died Tuesday at the Owens Nursing Home in Richmond following a lengthy illness. A native of Round County, Ky., she lived in Richmond for many years before moving to Centerville in 1952. She was a member of the First Church of God in Richmond.
Survivors include the husband; three sons, William R. of Richmond, Kenneth R. of R.R.1, Lynn, and Okie G. of R.R.1, Fountain City; two daughters Mrs. Kenneth Razor of Richmond, and Mrs. Vada Breeze of Vineland, N.J.; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Clay will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Welfer-Mills Funeral Home here, with burial in Glen haven memorial Gardens near Boston. Rev. William S. Jenkins of the First Church of God at Richmond will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
