Rockport - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel here for Harry Scott Wood, 90, who died Monday in a Corpus Christi hospital after a short illness. Burial will be in the Rockport Cemetery.
Wood was a native of Ohio and had lived here 30 years. He was a retired commercial fisherman.
LKH note: In his obituary and death certificate his occupation is recorded as commercial fisherman.
In the 1920 census his occupation in machinist in the saw work industry.
In 1930 as machinist in washing machine shop.
In 1940 his occupation is recorded as owner of a night club.

Rockport – Harry Scott Wood, 90, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday in a Corpus Christi hospital after a short illness.
He was a native of Ohio and had lived here 30 years. He was a retired commercial fisherman.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Rockport with burial in Rockport Cemetery.

Harry's World War I draft card (12 Sept 1918) gives his address as Saginaw, Tarrant County, Texas. Nearest relative: Mrs. Rebecca Wood, Portland, Indiana.
