    • Walter Baker Dies; Rites Set For Today
      Murray, Ky., May 24 – Walter Baker of Farmington Rt. 2, who had 184 descendants, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. He was 86.
      Mr. Baker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl Jones of Murray, and Mrs. Ovie Mitcherson of Hardin Rt.1; two sons, Marion Baker of Farmington Rt.2, and Arlett Baker of Elkton, a stepson, Albert Cassity of Murray Rt.5; a sister, Mrs. Felix Vallentine of Murray Rt.3; four brothers, Ramsey Baker of Symsonia, George Baker of Hardin Rt.3, Tommy Baker of Elkton and Roy Baker of Benton; 46 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 83 great-great-grandchildren and six great-great-great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Max Churchill Funeral Chapel with burial in Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery.
      Friends may call at the funeral home.
