The descendants of William S. and Mary Ellen (Sallee) Buckman met at the Wheeling Shelterhouse October 9 for their annual reunion. Ivan and Lois Buckman and
Leroy and Janice Geist were hosts for the occasion. Thanks for the meal were expressed by J. M Goldsmith. "Happy Birthday" was sung to Betty Wood whose birthday was that day The afternoon was spent visiting and enjoying the playground. Three births and one death were reported since last October. Donna Marie,
daughter of Ray and Joyce Epperly, arrived November 16, 1976; Aaron Christopher, son of David and Pam Minor, arrived December 8, 1976; Amanda
Richelle. daughter of Richard and Susan Buckman, arrived July 30, 1977. Manley Buckman died December 31, 1976. Seventy-three were present including Manuel and Blanche Goldsmith, Tucson, Ariz.; Gary and Lcta Coffey, Springfield; Bill and Marge Buckman, Cheryl, Shane and Jamey George, St. Joseph; Richard, Susan and Amanda Buckman. Hamilton; Dianna Wood, Columbia; Elaine, Bruce and Rochelle Buckner, Humphreys. Jesse, Janice and Trudy Buckman, Purdin; Danny and Brenda Neil and Terry Keller, Rothvilie; Joyce, Donnie and Donna Epperly and Toni Buckman, Brookfield; Morgan, Clara, Ivan, Lois, Karen Buckman, David, Pam and Aaron Minor, Marceline; Herb, Janet Sandra, Randy, Mark Peper, Paris. Brooks, Annie, Orville, Helen and Barbara Buckman, Rex, Pat, Carrie, Jody Wood, Meadville; Leroy, Janice Geist, Kevin, Karina, Kathi, Kenneth and Kimberli Kerr, Chillicothe. Buckman, Lois and Harold White, Daniel, Eudora, Danelle and J. W. Fitzpatrick, Betty, Dale and Steve Wood, Linneus. Miss Kate Buckman, Chillicothe, was unable to attend this year because she is in the Hedrick Medical Center with a broken hip. Next year's reunion will be Sunday, October 8, 1978, at the Wheeling shelter house with Robert, Marilyn and Glen W. Buckman as hosts.

- William Buckman Dies
William Buckman 89 years old, died at his home in Linneus, Monday afternoon. Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Linneus Funeral Home. Mr. Buckman is survived by his widow and eight children.
