Rockport, (Sp.) - Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Cage Funeral Home for Eldon E. Simpson, a public accountant, who died yesterday afternoon of wounds from a .38 calibre pistol Justice of the Peace Joe Smith returned a verdict of suicide.
Simpson had been a resident here for several years. Shortly before his death he gave a note to his two step-sons to be delivered to his wife, a waitress in a Rockport cafe. The boys were about 50 feet away from the house when they heard the shot.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Simpson; three children, aged seven, four, and two; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Wood, all of Rockport, and one brother, William C. Simpson, of Dayton, Ohio.
