Notes - Ralph Benjamin Alsip, 97, of Plant City, FL. died Jan. 26, 2005 in Sun City Center, FL. He was born Aug 19, 1907, in Loda, IL. son of James E. and Ida (Cogswell) Alsip. He married Ruth Lindsey, July 3, 1937 at St. Andrew's Church, New Berlin, NY. She passed away Aug 14, 1997. Survived by one son David Alsip of Bedford, TX; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Alsip moved to Florida from Tully, NY in 1971. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII and was one of the many who landed on Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Plant City.
