Notes - Rosebud Alsip
Loda – Rosebud Alsip, 84, of Loda died at 11:55 p.m. Monday (Aug. 14, 2000) at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton, the Rev. John Hauck officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Loda United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Mrs. Alsip was born Sept. 16, 1915, at Goreville, a daughter of Walter W. and Daisy Jones Overstreet. She married Richard J. Alsip on July 9, 1942, at Kankakee. He died Feb. 12, 1973.
Survivors include two sons, John Alsip, Oquawka; and Jim Alsip, Urbana; one stepdaughter, Evelyn Kissee, Lacon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.
