    • Funeral to Be Thursday At Christian Church For Mrs. R.H. Bowles
      Funeral services for Mrs. R.H. Bowles, who died suddenly Tuesday morning, will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at the Christian Church.
      The Rev. William Icenogle, pastor of the church, will conduct the service. Burial is to be in the Purdin cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Hill Funeral Home until the service.
      Mollie Edyth was the daughter of Armstrong and Josephine Cassity. She was born April 1, 1879, near Purdin. On Aug. 27, 1899 she and R.H. Bowles were united in marriage.
      To this union three children were born, one dying in infancy.
      Mrs. Bowles is survived by her husband, R.H. Bowles, of the home; two sons, Robert Bowles, Brookfield and Harry Bowles, Littleton, Colo.; two grandsons, Walter Bowles, Brookfield, and Paul Bowles, Littleton, and two brothers, Victor and Fred Cassity, both of Purdin.
      Mrs. Bowles lived her entire life in Linn County. She was a member of the Christian Church.
