Notes - Mrs. J.M. Bowles Died.
After a lingering illness covering many months, Mrs. Laura Bowles, wife of J.M. Bowles, died at the family home northeast of Laclede, Thursday, January 20, 1921. She was born February 19, 1851. The funeral services were conducted by Walter Acree at the home on Saturday, January 22, and burial was made in the Laclede cemetery. The husband and 7 daughters and two sons survive here. One daughter died in infancy.
