Notes - W.K. Killy, 70, dies at Etterville
Funeral services were held at the Etterville Christian Church Sunday for William Kennedy Lilly, longtime resident of the Etterville community. Mr. Lilly, 70, died at his home Friday.
The son of the late Cyrus and Luzetta (McCloud) Lilly, he was born Dec. 7, 1877, in Springfield, Ill.
On June 24, 1903, he was married to Leota Gertrude Neely. They made their home at Laredo in north central Missouri where Mr. Lilly was a rural mail carrier for 11 years.
On March 26, 1919, the family moved to the Etterville community where Mr. Lilly was a farmer and stockman.
Mrs. Lilly passed away Feb. 28, 1930.
On Sept. 23, 1943, he was married to Mrs. Meckle N. Bond who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lilly is survived by a son, Alfred Forrest Lilly, and a daughter, Mrs. Wanda L. Warren, both of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Emily Tipton, of Trenton, and two grandchildren.
