- Charles Morrison Dies After Illness
Lebanon - Charles R. Morrison, 60, 585 Williams St., died Wednesday in Lebanon Community hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Morrison was born August 6, 1903 in Guy, Kansas, and had resided in Lebanon for 22 years.
He is survived by a son, William G. of Goldboro, N.C.; a brother, Jess W., Topeka, Kan.; and three grandchildren. He has been a member of Elks for the past 38 years and was a member of the Lebanon Lodge No. 1663.
Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Huston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Livesay of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Graveside services will be conducted by Elks Lodge No. 1663, at the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Son of John P. and Lenora B. (Magee) Morrison. In 1930 they lived in Lostine, Wallowa, Oregon and prior to that they had lived in Union, Putnam County, Missouri. His father was a farm laborer. Charles R. was then age 26 and also a farm laborer and had first been married at age 21.
He was first married about 1924 but not living with his wife in 1930.
He married Agnes A. Owens June 21, 1943 in Clark Washington. He was 36 and she was 25 and residing Lebanon, Oregon. Marriage record born Union Missouri and he was working at the Plywood mill. Agnes was a stenographer daughter of Joseph R. and Minnie A. (Cox) Owens, father born Missouri and mother Kansas. They were divorced.
Agnes died in 2005 in Washington.
