Funeral for American Farmer Was Held This Afternoon

Americus, Jan. 13 – The funeral for William G. Correll, 66, who died at his home near the Correll dam near here Wednesday night, was held this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the Americus United Presbyterian church, of which he was a member. Burial was in the Americus cemetery. Mr. Correll had been sick with diabetes.
Mr. Correll was born in Pennsylvania and came to Kansas with his parents. He had lived many years on the farm which was his home at the time of his death. He leaves besides hie widow, two daughters, Mrs. Effie Gibson, of Rossville and Miss Ruth Correll, a teacher in the Wichita public schools. Mr. Correll was a brother of Mrs. J.B. Brickwell, of Emporia.
