      Services will be Saturday for Rodney Lee Barber J:r. of Apple Valley, formerly of Wilmington.
      Born Sept. 11, 1930, in Wilmington, he died Feb 16, 1987.
      Mr. Barber was a longshoreman in San Pedro for 20 years and moved to Apple Valley a few months ago.
      He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; a daughter, Rhoda Cooley; two sons, Rodney III and Christopher McCloed; and five grandchildren.
      Services will be at 1 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
