Notes - Carolyn Helms, age 83, of New Boston, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery in New Boston. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Wilma Carolyn, daughter of Roy Curtis and Edna (Foster)Bagley, was born August 25, 1926 in Purdin. On August 18. 1946, she married Curt Helms, he preceded her in death on January 21, 1994.
Mrs. Helms worked at Stanbury Uniforms in Brookfield until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and playing the guitar. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Purdin.
Survivors include one son, Max (Jan) Helms of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Brett ( Kristy)Helms of Hallsville, Mo. and Brooke Helms of Chillicothe; three great grandchildren, McKenzie Helms and Kason Helms of Hallsvile, Mo and Hagan Atchison of Chillicothe' one sister, Clarice (Milton) Ruppert of Nokomis, Illinois and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles Bagley, and one sister, Margaret McCollum.
