- W.E. Brazelton Dies En Route To Hospital
A stationary fireman at the Akron Children's home for a decade, William E. Brazelton, 68, of 1068 Seventh av., died today after an illness of six months.
Mr. Brazelton died en route to City hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home.
He had recently worked as a stationary fireman at the Herman machine & Tool Co. in Tallmadge. During most of his 18 years in Akron, Mr. Brazelton had been employed at the Children's home. He was a native of Georgetown, Ill.
He leaves his widow, Hanna; three sons, Michael of Brockton, Ill, Irvin of Detroit, Mich., and Cecil of Windham; five daughters, Marjorie and Audrey, at home, Mrs. Lucy Stover of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Violet Boyer and Mrs. Eva Bond, all of Akron; three brothers, James of Goldendale, Wash., Andrew and Clarence, both of Detroit, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Eckard funeral home.
