Notes - Charles E. Ingram Sr.
Maysville, Nov. 11 – Charles E. Ingram sr., 79, landowner and retired farmer of the Wedonia community, died at 12:07 a.m. today at Hayswood Hospital where he had been confined since Oct. 20 after suffering a fractured hip in a fall at his home.
He had been in ill health for the past six years after suffering a stroke. After he retired, he moved to Maysville. He was a native of Bath County and a member of the Mill Creek Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Hall Ingram; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Wilson, at home; three sons, William Ingram, Campbellsville; Charles Ingram Jr., Maysville, and Douglas Ingram, Mason County, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the J.W. Porter and Sons Funeral Home here by the Rev. M. Glynn Burke and the Rev. James Compton. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery in Fleming County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
