Mrs. Bertha Rosetta Hedges was born in Pocahontas county, Iowa, on August 25, 1895, and died March 15, 1937, age 41 years, 6 months and 21 days. She is survived by the husband, George Hedges, a daughter, Sophia, her father, Gottfried Julias, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Burka and Mrs. Olga Schleibert, and two brothers, Alfred and Otto Julias. Her mother, one sister and a son have preceded her in death. Funeral services were held March 16 at 2 P.M., in the Chadwick Union church, with Rev. Day officiating, with burial in the Chadwick cemetery under the direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark.
