- Melvin H, Kissick, 65
Mount Summit – Melvin H. Kissick, 65, died Saturday in Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mr. Kissick was born in Henry County. He was a security guard at Stoutfield Army Base for Burns International, Indianapolis. He had worked as an independent insurance agent for Penncorp. For 15 years and at Standard Grocery Stores in New Castle and Indianapolis for 32 years. He was a former member of the Blue River Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Rutherford Kissick; a daughter, Melanie Cummings (husband: Jim); three sons, Larry Kissick, Brian Kissick (wife: Teri) and Gregg Kissick (wife: Lora; a brother, Gerald Kissick (wife: Violet), two sisters, Alberta Lowe (husband: Clyde) and Janet Cross; his stepmother, Neva Kissick, and 10 grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Burial will be in Mount Summit Cemetery.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hinsey Brown Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Cancer Society or the Henry County Heart Association.
