    • Charles H Derr , 65 formerly of this city died August 18 in Texas City, Texas. He was the son of William H & Julia Hedges Derr both deceased . He was the proprietor of Derr Hotel on the site of Hotel Frederick for years and during the Civil War.Two brothers Samuel & Marion Derr and three sisters Mamie Derr, Mrs. J M Murray and Kate Brendel survive him.
