Notes - Mrs. John E. Swallow
Mrs. John E. Swallow, secretary to Harry C. Black, died yesterday at her home, 576 West University Parkway, after being stricken earlier in the day at the Women's Exchange.
Mrs. Swallow, a native of Baltimore, was known in financial circles for her work with the Red Cross and the Liberty Loan campaign during the World War.
As Miss Florence I. Murray she became the secretary of the late H. Crawford Black nearly twenty-five years ago, and on his death served in the same capacity with his son.
In 1926 she married Dr. John E. Swallow, Baltimore dentist. They had no children.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Florence I. Murray. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.
