    • LKH note: Peter was a veteran of the Civil War. He filed for invalid status 13 August 1890 and was admitted to the US National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Dayton, Ohio in 1903.

    • PVT - Served with Co F, 195th Ohio Infantry; enlisted March 1, 1865 and mustered out on Dec. 18, 1865.
      Filed for pension about 1891 (hard to read) and his widow Margaret filed in 1904. He entered a Vet's home Sep 17 1903, and died the following spring.

      Although the stone says Feizer, his pension file and Ohio Veteran's Grave registration, census and other records are all as Feiser. He m.1st Mary Jane Null, buried in Woodsboro, Frederick Co. MD; m2d Margaret E. (Cramer) Hedges (1842-1920), buried in York, PA.

    • W.J. Feiser, one of the train dispatchers employed at the E.&W. offices, on the South Side, received a message Saturday evening announcing the sudden death of his father, Peter Feiser, of Dayton. The sad news came as a severe shock to dispatcher Feiser, who did not know that his father had been ill. The deceased was about 70 years of age. He was in this city about two weeks ago, visiting his son.
      Dispatcher Feiser is in Dayton today, attending the funeral of his father.
