Notes - Son of Samuel T. and Clara (Wagoner) Mark. He married first Fay Moody on Nov. 28,1918 in Henry Co., IN they were the parents of 3 known sons: Norman Eugene "Gene" Mark, and twins Hubert David Mark and Phillip E. Mark.
Hubert was killed during the Korean War in 1950.
He married again on Sept. 17, 1943 to Artha Ada (McKinney) Cross. No issue from this union. She had a daughter Belva Jean Cross who married Clifton Howard.
[1] - Raymond Mark Dies Saturday
Raymond Mark, a former Rushville resident who was related here, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at his home in New Castle. He was about 58 years old.
He was born in Kentucky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mark, and lived in Rushville seven or eight years when he was a boy. Mr. Mark then resided in Maysville, Ky., until he moved to New Castle following his marriage.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Martha Mark; two sons, Eugene and Philip of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Lula Madden of Indianapolis, two half-sisters and a half-brother.
Five cousins live in Rushville. They are Mrs. Omer Vansickle, Ora Wagner, Ernest Wagner, Mrs. Alvin Lemon and Mrs. Gladys Watson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Maines Funeral Home in New Castle with burial following in that city.
