    • Kentucky; WILMORE - Rev. William C. Moody, 80, died on Fri, April 2. The Rev. Moody was an alumnus of both Asbury College and Seminary, and he retired from the United Methodist Church after more than 30 years in ministry. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anne Helphinstine Moody, two sons, William C. (Suza) Moody of Owingsville and Robert Tipton of Wilmore, two granddaughters, Elisha Moody and Brittany (Jon) Dennis, two great-grandchildren, Ian and Mary Elizabeth, two sisters, Thelma Bradshaw of Lexington and Stella Sweeney of TX and other family members. Services will be 11am Tue at Nicholasville United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Snyder and Rev. Bill Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Mon from 5-8pm at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Gordon, Mark and Todd Helphinstine, Jon Dennis, P.L. Clem, Tommy Orme, Carl Bradshaw Jr, and Freddy Bradshaw. Honorary bearers will be Ian Moody and members of the Wise Sunday School Class. Contributions are suggested to the Manna Ministry of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
