- Virginia Frances Huston Moody, 77, wife of George Moody of Melrose Avenue, Nicholasville, died October 22, 2002 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Nicholasville United Methodist Church and was a former employee of the Lexington Credit Bureau. She was the daughter of the late Robert Dallas and Ruth Winn Huston. Addition survivors are two children, Robert Edgar (Diana L.) Moody of Lexington and Donna Moody (Roger) Tremaine of Nicholasville; five grandchildren, Amy Tremaine Mullins, Deborah Hoosier, Sherrie Spader, Hillary Farris, Trevor Tremaine; eight great great-grandchildren; a brother, James Huston of Louisville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Winn McWilliams. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Ryan. Burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Bearers will be Lee Mullins, Jason Farris, Trevor and Roger Tremaine, Donnie McWilliams, Tommy Huston, Clark Spader and Stan Foster. Honorary bearers will be her granddaughters. Donations are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
