Notes - Services for Charles O. Gibs, Sr., 75, of Muskogee will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Bradley Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jim Anthis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born Nov. 11, 1905, in Yale, Ky., he died Wednesday at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.
Gibbs attended Oak Ridge, Mo., schools. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Lodge Rosecrucian Order Amorc.
Survivors include two sons, Charles O. Gibbs, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Eldon J. Gibbs of Eufaula; four brothers, Kelly of Salem, Mo., Tinsley of Muskogee, Glendon of Texas City, Texas and Sheldon of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Elsie Redden of El Monte, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
The body will be available for viewing until 11 a.m. Friday.
