    • Leahy, Joseph A., born Jan. 6, 1912, died Aug. 11, 1991, survived by his wife, Lelah G. Leahy (nee Gibbs), his sister, Gladys Spitznagel of St. Louis and 2 nephews, Francis J. Spintznagel Jr. and David R. Spitznagel of St. Louis.
      Mr. Leahy served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired on Nov. 7, 1949 as C.P.O. He later worked 14 years in real estate sales and the Department of Defense for 14 years, retiring Jan. 11, 1980. Donations to the American Cancer Society preferred. Mr. Leahy in state at Buchholz Spanish Lake Mortuary, 1645 Redman Ave., Mon., Aug. 12, 5 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. same day. Graveside services Tues., 2 p.m. Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem, Mo.
