    • Zella “Maxine” Hill was born May 20, 1930 and departed this life Thursday, June 25, 2020 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Charlie and Rosie (Taylor) Goldsberry.

      She married Wiley Hill and to this union 4 children were born.

      She is survived by: 2 sons, Luther and Lester Hill; 2 daughters, Nancy (Tony) Thompson and Naida Stanley; 2 brothers, James and Dean Goldsberry; 1 half-sister, Vinnie Goldsberry; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband Wiley Hill; 1 brother, Frank Goldsberry; and 1 sister, Margie Neal.

      She was a loving mother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

      The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2020 between 10 am - 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11 am at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Tuttle’s Chapel Cemetery.
