Notes - Leonard was born the son of the late Lionel and Gertrude Cogswell DeLonais. Mr. DeLonais was the retired owner of a dry cleaning and laundry business and the owner of the Wedding Center. He was also engaged in farming. He was on the original board of the Bank of Bourbonnais. His wife, the former Helen L. Kriebs, whom he married in June of 1952, in Bradley, died Dec. 22, 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during World War II and was also a referee for high school sports. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Gretchen and Sam Averitt of Tucson; grandson, Spencer Averitt of Tucson; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his parents; three brothers, Walter, Alfred and Victor; and four sisters, Maybelle Morris, Hazel Mizera, Loretta Cromwell and Pauline O'Donnell.
