A very pretty home wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Christy, Saturday at 4:30 when their daughter, Mary was given in marriage to William Hedges of near Purdin. The officiating minister was Elder Fitzgerald. Only the members of the immediate families were present. After receiving the congratulations of those present all were invited into the dining room where a bountiful wedding supper was served. The groom is a promising young farmer of near Purdin.
The bride is an accomplished young lady who numbers her friends by her acquaintance. The happy pair are now receiving the congratulations of their many young friends in which the Leader Record joins.
The Browning Leader=-Record, Browning, Missouri. Thursday, 2 November 1916.
