Jack V., age 65, of Lebanon, Ohio, died Wednesday January 4, 1995. A graduate of Lima Shawnee High School in Lima, OH and Ohio State University, Mr. Hedges was involved in the insurance industry for over 40 years. Past president and active member of Professional Insurance Agents of Ohio for which he instructed classes for 25 years. Since 1975, owned and operated Hedges Gallery of Insurance in Lebanon. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Alice (nee Johnston) Hedges, son and daughter-in-law Mark V. and Julie Hedges of Reston, VA, son James B. Hedges of Columbus, OH, daughter and son-in-law Kathryn L. and Mark Carroll of Lebanon, one sister Miriam Snyder of Perrysburg, OH, a niece of Genoa, OH and will also be missed by his office family at Hedges Gallery of Insurance. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 1995, 2 P.M. at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, with Rev. Mary Joseph officiating. The family requests memorial to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
