Joshua Forest Meyer
Joshua Forest Meyer, age 83, of Camarillo, died July 14, 1996, in Camarillo.
He was born May 29, 1913, in Gardner, Colo., and had been a county resident for 46 years, coming from Merced. Mrs. Meyer was a retired veterinarian and was owner of Camarillo Veterinary Hospital. He was also a member of American Veterinary Assoc., California Veterinary Assoc., St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post 741, Elks Club 2795 Oxnard, Las Posas Country Club and Colorado State University Alumni Assoc.
He is survived by his wife Norma Meyer of Camarillo, daughter Marilyn Moore of Ventura; son-in-law Sammie Moore of Ventura; grandson and wife Dexter and April Haney; granddaughter and husband Kelli and Chris Cummings, and great-grandchildren, Britni, Justin and Coty, all of Ventura.
The service will be held Monday, July 22, 1996, at 11 a.m. at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Camarillo, Rev. Alfred H. Smith officiating. Burial will be private.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1368 Del Norte Rd., Camarillo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.
