Notes - Morris H. "Bud" Hunt, 93, of South Shore, died January 19, 2011, in South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born March 16, 1917, in Greenup County, a son of the late Harry Hunt and Nellie Harr Hunt.
He was retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad in Portsmouth, Ohio, was a 52-year member of Harrison-Fullerton Masonic Lodge of South Shore and served as an Army medic during World War II while stationed in England.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Webb Hunt, two sisters, Mable Bosley and Lucille Miller, four brothers, Richard, Clarence, Raymond and Carl Hunt.
He is survived by two daughters, Francie (Bob) Meenach of Russell, and Janie (David) Budig of South Shore, two grandchildren, J.T. (Renee) White, and Matthew Meenach, two great-grandchildren, Jonah Clay and Lilah Renee White, and a sister-in-law, Ota Hunt of South Shore.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Friday, January 21, 2011, at Morton Funeral Home in South Shore by Bill Hayden.
Family and friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 2 p.m.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brick Union Cemetery, with military honors by James L. Flannery American Legion Post 276. [3, 4]
