[1, 2] - Purdin Man, Formerly A Resident Here, Dies
Mack Molloy, a former resident of Chillicothe, died at 9 o’clock last night in a hospital at Kirksville. He had been seriously ill since suffering a heart attack Friday and was taken to Kirksville yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Molloy was a barber at Purdin until approximately two years ago when he retired. He barbered in Chillicothe during the 1920s. Mrs. Molloy, now a teacher at Browning, formerly was on the Wheeling school faculty.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Church of Christ in Purdin.
