Notes - Walter Robert "Walt" Bowles was born February 27, 1936, in Grantsville, Missouri to Robert Orville and Mary Eulalia (Powell) Bowles. At age 84, he passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 29, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio.
Walt served in the Air Force and graduated from the University of Missouri in the top of his class as an Electrical Engineer. He began and ended his career at Western Electric/ AT&T. He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the Pickerington Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Judy; daughter Janet, parents, Robert and Mary.
Walt is survived by his son Dean (Samantha); daughter Janice (Jeff); granddaughters Emma and Nikki; and so many loving and close friends that are considered family.
