- Mrs. Rova Hayes Dies at Age of 85
Mrs. Rova Alice Hayes, 85, 246 Fourth avenue east, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday at a local rest home following an extended illness. She had been a resident of Twin Falls 27 years.
Mrs. Hayes was born May 29, 1867, at Linneus, Mo. She had been an active member of the Christian church since 1887. Her husband, James W. Hayes, preceded her in death in 1926.
Survivors include three sons, H.G. Hayes, A.W. Hayes and R.C. Hayes, all Twin Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Lasswell, Laredo, Mo.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Milis G. Canada, Jerome and Willis A. Canada, Madera, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Hayes, Linneus, Mo., and Mrs. Linnie Pickens, Coatsburg, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in the Twin Falls mortuary chapel by the Rev. Richard DeVilliers, pastor., First Christian church. Burial will be made in Sunset Memorial park.
