    • Raymond Edwards, resident here 12 years, died
      A retired millwright, Raymond W. Edwards died Sunday morning in Morgan County Memorial Hospital. The 83-year-old man had been ill for five years.
      The son of John and Hassie Chambers Edwards, he was born in Indianapolis on March 25, 1891. On Oct. 25, 1913, he married Lottie Otis, who survives.
      Coming to Morgan County 12 years ago, he was employed at Acme Evans Co. before his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
      Survivors besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Barrett of Indianapolis and Mrs. Betty Spaulding of Mooresville; two brothers, Carl and Harvey Edwards, both of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Honor Austermiller of Leesburg, Fla. Ten Grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren also survive.
      Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at the Carisle & Son Chapel, Mooresville. The Rev. John Rierson will officiate, and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
      Friends may call at the funeral home any time.
