Notes - LELAND – Funeral services for Rachel Hoover, 84, a salesperson, of Leland, will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2011, at Southside Baptist Church, Greenville.
She died October 11, 2011, at her residence. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Draydon Hoover; father, Claude H. Blaylock; her mother, Dorothy Brown Blaylock, and her sister, Elizabeth Blaylock.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Hoover (Gary) Hallman of Greenville; sons, Jerry Wayne Hoover Sr., of Brandon, Lloyd Draydon (Elizabeth Ann) Hoover of Leland and Steve Lamar (Bridget Ann) Hoover of Greenville; sisters, Winifred (Larry) Murray of Marks, Sarah Katherine (Bill) Montague of Havana, Fla.; brothers, William Hiram (Onnie) Blaylock of Memphis, Tenn.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
