- Carl Clark Crouch, Marina resident
Carl Clark Crouch of Marina died Tuesday at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula from heart disease. He was 68.
Mr. Crouch was a native of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and lived in Monterey County for 32 years. He was a logistics manager at Fort Ord for 28 years. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1965 and retired as sergeant first class. Mr. Crouch was past president of the Lions Club of Marina, a member of American Legion Monterey Cypress Post No.694 in Marina and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Monterey. He was a volunteer and coach with the Monterey Bay Little League.
Mr. Crouch is survived by his wife, Margarita Crouch of Marina; two sons, Robert Clark Crouch and Arthur Carl Crouch, both of Salinas; two daughters, Linda Elaine Mase of Marina and Monica Evelyn Young of Salinas; two brothers, George Crouch and Fred Crouch, both of Heber Springs, Ark.; four sisters, Margaret Ann Harville of Phoenix, Ariz., Bertha Osborne of Chandler, Ariz., Betty Ems of Meridian, Miss., and Charlotte Allen of Queen creek, Ariz.; and his granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Church in Seaside. Burial will follow at San Carlos Catholic Cemetery.
