Notes - Cecil Earl Gilkison
Versailles, Sept. 12 – Cecil Earl Gilkison, 49, Huntertown Road, Versailles, died suddenly about 3 p.m. today. He was a farmer and a native of Fleming County. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Maddox Gilkison; his father, Martin Luther Gilkison; two sons, Jerry Gilkison, Versailles, and Ronnie Gilkison, Camp LeJune, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Gene Goodrich; five sisters, Mrs. Roy Fearin and Mrs. William Parker, Fleming County; Mrs. Roy Strode and Mrs. Woodrow Bishop, Mason County; Mrs. Roy Humphries, Louisville; a brother, James F. Gilkison, Versailles, and a granddaughter.
The body is at Duell’s Funeral Chapel in Versailles.
