Clarence E. Gilkison Sr., 68, 132 S. 72nd, died June 6 at the Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. He was born in Leavenworth county, and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Gilkison worked for the Pacific Fruit Express Co. before he retired in 1974. He leaves a son, Clarence E. Gilkison Jr., Kansas City, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Ohl Holt in Clay County, Mrs. Elaine Simpson, Gladstone, and Mrs. Janet Hahner, Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Dick Gilkison, Horton, and Edwin Gilkison, Topeka; and four grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at the Butler Parallel Chapel; burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Atchison. The family suggests contributions to Cancer Action Inc.
