Notes - Mrs. Elmer Alexander
Mildred D. , daughter of George W. and Mildred Cooper, was born April 6th, 1880, and died December 25th, 1936.
She was married to Elmer Alexander, January 29, 1899, and to them the following children were born: Virgil, who died October 10, 1912, Clyde of Meadville, Mo., Raymond of Laclede, Mo., Mrs. Reva Smith of Chula, Mo., and Alpha, of the home. She also leaves four grandchildren.
Her living brothers and sisters are E.J. Cooper, of Solomon, Kas., Mrs. Nan King of Walker, Mo., Mrs. Belle Barnes, of Eden Idaho, Mrs. Alice Canada, of Jerome, Idaho, Herbert Cooper of Eden, Idaho, Grover Cooper, of Chula, MO., Wheeler Cooper of Laredo, Mo., Herman Cooper, of Purdin, Mo. R.J. Cooper and Homer Cooper have preceded her in death.
She united with the church at Morris Chapel in 1894 under the ministry of the Rev. E.E. Bostwick, and has lived a faithful member since.
Her entire life has been spent in Linn County with the exception of five years spent in Oklahoma.
Although she has been ill for several years, she has been a patient sufferer, and has always been concerned about the welfare of her family and friends who are left to mourn her passing.
