Ruby Louise Rigdon Million, 90, of Maysville, passed away Monday morning October 3, 2016 at Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Ruby was born April 6, 1926 in Lewis County to the late Lee and Florence Clary Rigdon.
Ruby retired from the Housing Authority in Lexington, KY after 10 years of service. She loved playing her guitar and singing in church. She loved to cook and feeding her family and friends was one of her joys in life. She had an extensive collection of Red Birds and never missed an opportunity to show them off. Ruby was a member of the Maysville Church of Christ.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Clifford D. “Bud” Million; grandson Brian Scott Million; step-granddaughter Cheryl Hunt; sisters Jean Bailey, Mildred Gabbard and Edith Fraley; brothers Walker, Jess and Wilmer Rigdon; and her parents.
Survivors include her son Barry and wife Alvirtie of Maysville, KY; grandchildren Greg (Annette) Million and Lisa (Mike) Moloney; great grandchildren Heather Million, Haley Moloney, Brandon Moloney and Grace Moloney; cousin Alice Bussell whom she considered a sister; step-grandchildren Otis Bolender and Brenda Stroup; six step great grandchildren and four step great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will at 2 PM Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 12 – 2 PM Wednesday.
